Aimee Copeland Leaves Hospital Today


Aimee Copeland, the 24 year old woman diagnosed with a rare flesh-eating disease called necrotizing fasciitis two months ago is being released today, Monday, July 2nd, from the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia.

According to her father, Andy, Aimee will be headed to a rehabilitation clinic for between 6-8 weeks.

During her stay at the Georgia hospital Aimee underwent the amputation of her left leg, right foot, and both hands.

Andy commented, "She's a very determined young lady...When she sets her mind to something, she achieves it."

Aimee, we pray for a quick recovery and that God will see you through.
