Lumen Photon Therapy for Pain and Inflammation
According to Dr. Thomas Roth, PhD, Director of the Sleep Disorders Center at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, "There's very good data that suggests that disturbed sleep can worsen your pain."
Professor Eve Van Cauter of the University of Chicago states that, "Lack of sleep disrupts every physiologic function in the body."
Pain and inflammation can arise in people as a result of disease-based conditions, physical trauma, work-related stresses, training, or other high performance activities. When looking for long-term solutions to these problems many traditional western medical practitioners have been recommending the use of light energy therapy.
Clinical tests have been conducted by NASA, Stanford University, and the Mayo Clinic, proving that light energy, or photon therapy, is able to help relieve pain and inflammation.
The Lumen Photon Therapy products (as shown above) are indicated for pain relief, muscle relaxation, increasing circulation, and increasing mobility of joints. These devices fall under FDA classification (RT)890.5740 and became exempt from the 510(k) requirement in 1997 because of their safety.

The Rossiter System with Kathy Howard for Pain Relief
Linda Roisum interviews Kathy Howard, Senior Certified Instructor and Coach of "The Rossiter System".
The Rossiter System is a 2 person workout where the Practitioner (coach) and the Patient (person in charge-PIC) works on stategic specific areas of the body where there is pain. The technique involves the use of the body weight and foot of the coach stategically placed, combining that with coaching the person to stretch.
A typical Rossiter System workout usually takes 20-30 minutes, with each technique usually lasting only 15 seconds.
About 90% of Kathy's clients receive immediate relief in just one visit. According to Kathy, "The more weight that we use and the more stretching the patient does, the quicker the results."
The Rossiter System is used to prevent or relieve:
- Sciatic or Low Back or Hip Pain
- Plantar Fasciitis or Foot or Ankle Pain
- Knee Pain
- Shoulder or Rotator Cuff Pain
- Headaches or Neck Pain
- Tight Calf Muscles and Hamstrings
- Golfer's or Tennis Elbow
- Overuse Injuries
- Arm, Wrist, or Hand Pain
Kathy decided to go see Richard Rossiter, founder of the Rossiter System, he did the Rossiter workout with her twice/day for 6 days, no surgery was ever needed, he was abe to put space back in her spine so those ruptured bulging discs were able to go back into place where they are suppose to be.
Kathy goes on to demonstrate in the video above of a woman with lower back pain who received relief after Kathy placed her foot in that strategic location on the woman's upper leg area.
In May 2008, Kathy opened The Rossiter Center at 1400 Battleground Ave., Suite 213, Greensboro, NC. She sees clients by appointment and also teaches Rossiter workshops there as well.

FIR Dome - Heat Therapy
The FIR Dome can penetrate deep into tissues, resonate cells, and be absorbed by the human body. As a result, the body temperature is increased, capillaries are dilated and blood circulation improved, resulting in energy, restoration of physical strength, and pain relief.
The FIR Dome also helps cells regenerate and reduces inflammation in the body. FIR Heat Therapy is very beneficial for the body and is completely safe. source
The “Super Radiant Heating Surface” of the FIR Dome is covered with a very fine, multi-faceted, acute-angle silicon surface manufactured in New Mexico. When rays are scattered in all directions by the countless surfaces created by these silicon crystals, the effectiveness of the 160 degree span is amplified. The radiant transmission area is increased some 10-fold. source
