On May 10, 2012, in the video above, Dr. Mary Neal, Orthopedic Spinal Surgeon, Wyoming, was interviewed by Megyn Kelly from Fox News, telling of her drowning accident while kayaking on a river in South America in 1999.
Dr. Neal was pinned to the front of her kayak, under water for 15 minutes, she couldn't breath, she knew she was drowning, but she never felt panic or afraid, was always calm throughout the whole ordeal.
The series of events surrounding her accident and recovery were nothing short of a miracle. Dr. Mary suffered two shattered legs and severe pulmonary problems, hospitalized for over a month, she describes her experience in her book, "To Heaven and Back" as "one of the greatest gifts I have ever received."
