Vitamin B12 Awareness, Prevention and Action

Sally M. Pacholok, R.N., B.S.N. and Jeffrey J. Stuart, D.O.,
authors of Could It Be B12?: An Epidemic of Misdiagnoses
Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) is essential for the production of red blood cells, aids in the maintenance of a healthy nervous system and is a crucial element in the construction of DNA.

Vitamin B12 deficiency can mimic dementia, multiple sclerosis, early Parkinson's disease, diabetic neuropathy or even chronic fatigue syndrome.  It can cause depression and mental illness, infertility in men and women, or developmental disabilities in children.  Other groups at risk for B12 deficiency include vegans, vegetarians, alcoholics, and people with celiac disease, Crohn's disease, gastric bypass, autoimmune diseases, and AIDS.

B12 deficiency is common and reported to affect 25% of the U.S. poplulation.  It strikes up to 15% (5.9 million) adults 64 and over.  The CDC reports that one out of every 31 Americans over the age of 50 are B12 deficient.

Vitamin B12 is found naturally in animal foods including meat, fish, shellfish, poultry, dairy products, and eggs.

Could It Be B12?: An Epidemic of Misdiagnoses, uncovers how standard medical practice has for decades misdiagnosed vitamin B12 deficiency.  Even though it's a common disorder that can be easily diagnosed and inexpensively treated, few patients are tested for B12 deficiency.  In 1985,  Sally Pacholok diagnosed herself with vitamin B12 deficiency, after her doctors failed to identify her condition.  As a result, she is passionate about the need to educate the public about the dangerous consequences of this hidden and all-too-common disease.

Ritalin - Some Hidden Facts

Many parents around the country have discovered that Ritalin has become a condition for their children continuing in school. There are even reports, by parents, of threats from social agencies: "If you don't allow us to prescribe Ritalin for your ADHD child, we may decide that you are an unfit parent. We may decide to take your child away." This mind-boggling state of affairs is fueled by teachers, principals, and school counselors, none of whom have medical training.....by Jon Rappoport

The term ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), is a syndrome of learning and behavioral problems that is not caused by any serious underlying physical or mental disorder and is characterized especially by difficulty in sustaining attention, any impulsive behavior (as in speaking out of turn), and usually by excessive activity.

ADHD can also be classified as a mental disorder assessed on the basis of behavior appropriate to a given mental age, characterized by inability to concentrate, hyperactivity, impulsiveness, etc.

These conditions are primarily due to the high consumption of sugar, an unstable home life, food allergies, food additives, heavy metal toxicity, etc.

At least 50% of ADHD children have been misdiagnosed and behavioral problems could be significantly corrected through the elimination of such things in their lives.

Something to note in those afflicted with ADD or ADHD, the neurotransmitters in the brain don't quite connect, the Original Chi Machine helps the neurotransmitters in the brain to connect, in turn releasing serotonin which helps to get rid of depression, also allowing right brain/left brain functioning.

Original Sun Ancon Chi Machine Aids Alzheimer Patient

Alzheimer's Disease is a degenerate disease of the central nervous system characterized especially by premature senile mental deterioration. It is progressive in its nature; it attacks the brain, resulting in impaired memory, decreased intellectual and emotional functioning, and ultimately complete physical breakdown. Symptoms vary; from depression, fatigue, and occasional forgetfulness to disorientation and aggressive or paranoid behavior.

Researchers have also concluded that brain loss mainly occurs because our neurons fail to get enough oxygen and blood. Our brain requires 20% of the oxygen we breathe into our lungs from the blood that is pumped through the arteries and capillaries.
Clogged arteries restrict blood flow to the brain and reduce the amount of oxygen needed for normal brain function.
Using the Original Sun Ancon Chi Machine on a daily basis can enhance circulation and oxygenation, stimulating the cognitive processes and achieve mental acuity. source

"My husband has had Alzheimer's disease for years. In the past year he has had several ministrokes. He went from having good balance and good walking ability to not walking at all. One morning he was particularly ill. His color was gray, was almost non-responsive. His caregiver and I were looking at him and she was thinking how she could raise his oxygen level. She then remembered the Chi Machine. He was sitting in a chair, we put his feet on the Chi Machine and set it for five minutes. Before our very eyes, his cheeks turned pink and the paleness left, he has been better every day. He walks fine and has had no more episodes. We keep him on the Chi Machine for 10 minutes twice a day now. He is so much happier than before, more like his old self." - Bev S., OR
